 A passion for make-up and hair and a belief that you should do a job you love is what drove Alison to embark on a career as a hair and make-up artist. In 2005 she trained at the London School of Media Make-up, trained by top industry professionals (including a BAFTA winning make-up artist) she aquired valuble skills and knowledge covering all areas of the industry. Since graduating she has worked regulary in films, TV, music videos, photoshoots, events and weddings. Always picking up new techniqes along the way to add to her repetoire of being fully trained and competent in contempery hair and make-up, period work, special fx/prosthetics, bodypainting, airbrushing and wig dressing.
Alison has also worked for some of the top cosmetic companies on the market giving her a vast product knowledge of what is available and what really works. During this time she spent several years based in the worlds most prestigous department store Harrods.
In 2011 Alison decided to leave London and head back up North to her hometown of York. Although now a northern based make-up artist covering the north of England (Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool etc) she is happy to travel wherever needed and still regulary travels (and is available) back down to London where she still has a base.
